Terms of Service

TasVid lets you create events, upload and share photos and videos with people who join that event, and optionally search for photos you appear in using face recognition. By creating an account or using TasVid, you agree to these Terms.

• You must provide accurate account information (email or phone number, name)
• You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure
• One account per person — do not create accounts to abuse referral rewards or free credits
• You must be legally able to enter into a contract in your jurisdiction to use TasVid

• TasVid uses a pay-as-you-go credit system — credits are consumed for uploads, downloads, and face searches, at rates published on our Plans page
• New accounts receive a one-time signup grant of free credits
• Credits expire one year after being granted
• Credits are non-refundable once consumed, and are not redeemable for cash
• We may change credit pricing going forward; changes do not affect credits already granted to you
• Referral rewards are granted automatically once the qualifying condition (published in-app) is met, and may be changed or discontinued at any time for future referrals

You retain ownership of every photo, video, and voice note you upload. By uploading content to TasVid, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely to operate the service — for example, showing it to other members of the same event, or generating a face vector if you opt into face search.

You agree not to upload content that:

• Is illegal, infringes someone else's copyright, or violates someone else's privacy
• Is intended to harass, threaten, or abuse another person
• Contains malware or attempts to disrupt the service

If you become aware of content on TasVid that violates these terms, contact us using the details below.

Face search is entirely opt-in. If you choose to use it, you provide a face reference photo (kept separate from your public profile picture) which is processed by AWS Rekognition (India region) to generate a face vector used only to match against photos in events you belong to. You can revoke this consent at any time from Settings, which permanently deletes your face reference photo and face data. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

If you use face search to find photos of a child rather than yourself, you add a separate named face profile for that child (you may add more than one), and must declare this and confirm you are the child's parent or legal guardian consenting on their behalf, for each child profile you add. See "Parents & Guardians" in our Privacy Policy for details.

• Each event's storage is valid for one year from creation
• Renewal is usage-based, charged to the event owner's credit balance
• If a renewal isn't paid, the event enters a grace period before any content is archived — we do not delete content without warning
• Deleting a photo does not refund the credits spent on it

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Deletion begins a 7-day grace period during which you can cancel; after that, your account and associated data are permanently erased, except content you uploaded to events you don't own, which remains with that event.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, attempt to abuse the credit or referral system, or use the service unlawfully.

TasVid is provided "as is." We work to keep the service reliable and your content safe, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access, and we're not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of TasVid after a change means you accept the updated Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
