Do people need to install an app to join?
No — they can join from the link or QR code without installing anything, and the in-app camera is there for anyone who does install the app.
Can anyone join, or can I limit it?
You choose per event: open to anyone with the link, approval before joining, or fully secret, so you can keep it to your own members.
How does face search work?
Anyone who joins can take one selfie, with consent, and TasVid shows them every photo and video they appear in, so nobody scrolls through hundreds of pictures.
Are my photos and videos compressed like in a chat app?
Photos are kept at their original quality, not compressed the way chat apps compress them. For videos you choose the quality when you upload: Original, High Quality (1080p) or Compressed, which uploads faster on a slow connection.
Can I use sections for different programmes?
Yes — sections let you split one event into parts, such as each day or each programme, so the gallery stays tidy.
