Photos from a trip with people you just met — in one gallery

Joined a group tour, trek or backpacking trip on your own? By the last day you have shared the best moments with strangers who became friends — and nobody has anyone's number. TasVid gives the whole group one place to upload and find their photos.

🧳
No Numbers to Swap
Everyone joins with one link or QR code, so there is no need to create a group chat or hand your number to ten new people.
🔍
Find Yourself in the Group's Photos
Take one selfie, with consent, and see every photo and video you appear in, out of everyone's uploads.
📶
Works With Patchy Signal
Photos taken in the TasVid camera wait in a queue and upload on their own once you are back online.

How it works

1
Create the event
The trip leader or any traveller sets up the gallery and gets a link and a QR code in seconds. Free to start.
2
Everyone joins the same gallery
Share the QR code on the first day. Make the event private to approve each person who joins.
3
Find your photos at the end
Everyone uploads as they go. When you are home, face search finds your photos in seconds.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to share my phone number with the group?
People join through a link or QR code and sign in to TasVid, so there is no need to swap numbers or set up a group chat first.
Can the gallery stay private?
Yes — you choose whether anyone with the link can join or whether you approve each person first, and a secret event stays hidden from everyone else.
Are my photos and videos compressed like in a chat app?
Photos are kept at their original quality, not compressed the way chat apps compress them. For videos you choose the quality when you upload: Original, High Quality (1080p) or Compressed, which uploads faster on a slow connection.
What if there is weak signal?
Photos and videos taken in the TasVid camera wait in a queue on the phone and upload automatically once the connection is back, so nothing gets lost in a patchy-network spot.
Do guests need to install an app?
No — anyone can join and upload through a shared link or QR code without installing anything. The in-app camera, which captures straight into the shared gallery, does need the app.
How does face search respect privacy?
Each person takes their own selfie, with their consent, to find their own photos. The event owner decides who can join the event in the first place.
