Keep shooting without signal — your photos upload when you are back online
Treks, venues and crowded festivals have weak or no signal. TasVid keeps your photos and videos in a queue on your phone and uploads them on their own once you are back online, so a bad connection never stops you from capturing the moment.

Keep Shooting
Add photos and videos without a connection. They wait safely in a queue on your phone until they have uploaded.
🔁
Uploads Carry On
When the connection returns, uploads start by themselves. Large videos go up in pieces and continue from where they stopped if the connection drops.
👥
Everyone Sees Them Once They Arrive
Your photos land in the shared event gallery next to everyone else's as soon as they are uploaded.
How it works
1
Join the event
Open the link or scan the QR code, and join the gallery.
2
Shoot as usual
Take photos and videos or pick them from your gallery. With no signal they simply wait in the queue.
3
Let it catch up
When you are back online the queue uploads on its own. Keep TasVid open while big videos finish.
Frequently Asked Questions
What if I close the app before it has uploaded?
The queue is kept on your phone, and uploads continue when you open the app again. For large videos it is best to keep TasVid open until they finish.
What happens if the connection drops in the middle of a big video?
Large videos upload in pieces, so the upload continues from where it stopped instead of starting again from zero.
Are my photos and videos compressed like in a chat app?
Photos are kept at their original quality, not compressed the way chat apps compress them. For videos you choose the quality when you upload: Original, High Quality (1080p) or Compressed, which uploads faster on a slow connection.
Do people need to install an app to join?
No — they can join from the link or QR code without installing anything, and the in-app camera is there for anyone who does install the app.
What does it cost?
It is free to start — every new account gets free credits, with no card required. After that you pay only for the storage and features you use, with no forced subscription. See the pricing page for details.
